Research Methogolgy: Mathe-didactical Analysis of Task Design
This
seminar is focused on the exploration of and further characterization
of the use of mathe-didactical analyses in qualitative research task
design. Participants will employ a set of criteria to unpack the underlying
mathematical structure and pedagogical intentions of several actual
research tasks. Evaluation of the ways that other tasks are presented
and justified in a selection of published research reports will be used
to examine the contribution that this type of analysis makes towards
the development of good research practice.
